WebBuy uses the Podium Lead Drive integration which you can set up in minutes!
Customers may drop off if they have unanswered questions while building their deal. In order to keep customers engaged, we recommend integrating Podium with WebBuy so that customers can instantly reach out and start a text conversation from within the deal building experience.
Podium's lead drive system requires dealers to set up an email inbox where Podium can have access to scrape all of the emails for lead data. When it discovers a new lead, it copies the customer data including their message for the dealer and enters it as a new contact in Podium, instantly sending a message to the client's phone.
The setup process is as follows:
1. Add Lead Inbox Email and Dealership Phone # (the phone # that is used to send messages from the dealer’s Podium account) to WebBuy Admin V2 Integrations Settings Page.
2. Navigate to Podium Lead Sources in the Settings
3. Now select the page for Email Leads
4. Click “Set-up Now” to Connect Lead Inbox with Podium’s LeadDrive system (this is the dealers Gmail or Outlook inbox where WebBuy will be sending the leads)
5. Follow the flow to sign in to Gmail or Outlook and grant Podium access to scrape leads from the inbox.
6. If there aren’t any other lead sources in the inbox, you’ll have to “Add my own sources”
7. Enter no-reply@webbuy.com as the email for the manually entered source.
Alternatively, if you didn’t get the dialogue box here (maybe there were other lead sources that were already added), you can add WebBuy as a source with the “Add New Source” button on the sources page for the chosen email inbox.
8. Navigate back to the Email Lead Sources page.
9. Update Auto Reply Message – this is how Podium will automatically text the user when they receive a new lead
